Aquaculture Canada 2015: Blue Revolution 2.0

The Aquaculture Association of Canada (AAC) held it’s 31st annual conference at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo from May 31 to June 3, 2015. The BC Salmon Farmer’s Association was involved in a big way as a top sponsor, encouraging member participation from both the producer and service sectors of the industry.

West Coast Grizzly Tour

It’s been a busy May and June for the BC Salmon Farmers Association, and we have been involved in some pretty great experiences and adventures. On May 22, salmon farmers joined Tide Rip Grizzly Adventures, based out of Telegraph Cove, for a day-long tour to learn more about B.C.’s eco-tourism industry and the behaviours of our province’s grizzly bears.
